The latest "verbinder"

The perfect fit!

Dear readers,

Those who follow world events closely will notice that everything seems to be moving faster and faster. So much is happening, and ever more unpredictably. We have no choice but to adapt and come to terms with it.

I’m very satisfied with the results achieved by binder Neckarsulm and our subsidiaries and sister companies so far this year. To go into the coming year well equipped to keep pace with trends and be at the forefront of the latest developments, we’re making an increased push in the areas of rail technology, agricultural engineering, food and beverages and, above all, products for medical applications. We’re also staying focused on the company’s ongoing internationalisation and launching a pilot phase in South Korea. We see great potential in East Asia, where we will initially be operating from our platform in Singapore. In our largescale forward-looking project to establish a logistics centre at the Neckarsulm site, an outline building application is currently being processed by the city, with the actual building application slated for early 2017.

I am looking forward to November, when we will be represented at five trade fairs, both overseas and here in Germany: the Industrial Automation Show in Shanghai, PACK EXPO in Chicago, electronica in Munich, SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg and COMPAMED in Düsseldorf. At the electronica fair, we will be present with an extraordinary new trade fair booth that is sure to command attention. We’re excited to see the response …Looking back over this year, I remember a fabulous, lively, high-spirited summer party. I’m also delighted that we held a family day for the first time in a while, that we had such beautiful weather for it, and that the event proved so popular.

The first ‘binder Trainee and Student Event’ took place in late September at the company headquarters in Neckarsulm. All of the trainees and students in the binder Group were invited to attend, and we had the pleasure of welcoming a lot of motivated young people. Offering the next generation bright prospects and making our company fit for the future is a great challenge, but I have no doubt that we’re on the right path.
