Unlike traditional ultrasonic level sensors that suffer signal degradation due to vapor, foam, temperature fluctuations, or pressure variations inside process tanks, the LR80's high-frequency 80GHz radar technology emits an extremely narrow beam that effortlessly penetrates steam, dust, and surface foam to deliver highly accurate, repeatable echo returns.
The Flowline LR80 features a ultra-narrow 4-degree beam angle, effectively eliminating false echo reflections caused by internal vessel obstructions such as agitators, heating coils, ladders, or narrow tank necks. Designed with fully encapsulated PFA/PVDF wetted antenna components, the transmitter exhibits exceptional chemical resistance against harsh acids (HCl, H2SO4, HNO3), caustics, and organic solvents.
Equipped with a standard 2-wire 4-20mA HART output signal, the LR80 also incorporates integrated Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing maintenance engineers to configure measuring ranges and perform real-time diagnostics via the intuitive Flowline WebCal app on iOS or Android devices.
