The Bühler GKH Series Glass Heat Exchanger is a specialized heat exchange component engineered and manufactured by Bühler Technologies (Germany). Designed for direct integration into sample gas cooling systems (Sample Gas Coolers) within Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and industrial process gas analysis setups, the GKH Series ensures highly efficient sample gas conditioning.
Constructed entirely from premium Borosilicate Glass 3.3, the Bühler GKH Series provides absolute chemical resistance against aggressive and corrosive sample gas components such as SO2, NO2, and HCl. Its optimized internal spiral gas path maximizes thermal contact area, ensuring rapid gas temperature reduction and thorough moisture condensation separation prior to entering sensitive analytical instruments.
The transparent glass body allows field engineers to easily perform visual inspections of condensate flow, liquid separation, and internal cleanliness. The Bühler GKH Series features excellent thermal shock resistance, low pressure drop, and straightforward disassembly for maintenance or cleaning.
