The Reckmann GmbH MIT Series Mineral-Insulated Thermocouples (*Mantelthermoelemente* / MIMS) represents the premier high-temperature industrial sensor range engineered, tested, and manufactured by Reckmann GmbH Sensor & Messtechnik (Germany). Built with high-purity, densely compacted Magnesium Oxide (MgO > 99.4%) insulation inside a seamless metallic sheath, the MIT Series offers extraordinary mechanical durability, superior vibration resistance, rapid response times (T0.5 under 1 second), and flexible bendability (minimum bend radius 3 to 5 times the sheath diameter) without damaging internal conductors.
The Reckmann GmbH MIT Series provides an exhaustive portfolio of mechanical terminations and connection interfaces, completely covering all specialized model configurations:
- MIT Model 0 & MIT Model 0 Tapered: Bare cable ends or tapered tip design reducing thermal mass at the tip for ultra-fast response.
- MIT Model A & MIT Model AM: Integrated standard male plug or miniature male plug (AM).
