The Tomoe Engineering Model TA430 Decanter Centrifuge is a continuous, heavy-duty industrial solid-liquid separation system engineered and manufactured by Tomoe Engineering Co., Ltd. (Japan). Built upon nearly seven decades of specialized Japanese mechanical engineering excellence, the Model TA430 delivers superior cake dryness and exceptional centrate clarity, solving difficult separation challenges across chemical manufacturing, food and beverage processing, mining, pharmaceuticals, and industrial wastewater treatment facilities worldwide.

The functional principle of the Tomoe TA430 is based on the synchronized rotation of a solid cylindrical-conical bowl and an internal scroll conveyor rotating in the same direction at a precisely controlled differential speed via a high-torque gearbox. Feed slurry is introduced continuously through a central feed pipe into the separation zone. Subjected to a high centrifugal field of several thousand Gs, higher-density solid particles are instantly forced against the inner wall of the rotating bowl, forming a compacted sediment cake. The screw conveyor continuously transports the separated solids along the conical beach section for enhanced dewatering before ejection through solid discharge ports, while the clarified liquid phase overflows over adjustable liquid dams at the opposite cylindrical end.

A distinguishing advantage of the Tomoe TA430 is its heavy-duty mechanical build and wear-resistant architecture. Critical high-wear surfaces—including the conveyor flight edges, feed distribution ports, and solids discharge nozzles—are protected with Tungsten Carbide tiles or specialized sintered wear-resistant inserts, ensuring extended continuous operating life even with abrasive slurries. The rotating bowl is centrifugally cast from premium Austenitic SUS316L or Duplex Stainless Steel, providing high tensile strength and resistance against aggressive chemical acids, alkalis, and chloride solutions.

The Tomoe Engineering Model TA430 is equipped with a Dual Variable Frequency Drive (Dual VFD) inverter control system, which dynamically adjusts scroll differential speed in real-time according to changing feed solids concentration and torque demands. Furthermore, its sealed hermetic housing structure prevents odor leakage, volatile solvent evaporation, and toxic gas dispersion, adhering strictly to industrial workplace hygiene and environmental protection directives.
