The Bühler Technologies K-AGF-PV-30-A Coalescing Sample Gas Filter is an advanced gas conditioning instrument engineered by Bühler Technologies GmbH (Germany)—a recognized global leader in industrial gas analysis components. This filter is specifically designed to remove fine liquid aerosols (such as water droplets and acid mist) as well as solid particulates from sample gas streams prior to entering sensitive gas analyzers.
Unlike standard dust filters, the K-AGF-PV-30-A model operates on the coalescing filtration principle. Gas flows from the inside to the outside of the specialized filter element, causing ultra-fine liquid droplets to merge into larger drops that accumulate on the outer surface and drain by gravity into the bottom bowl. The "A" version incorporates an automatic condensate drainage port or integrated drain assembly to ensure uninterrupted liquid removal without sample pressure loss.
Constructed with a premium PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) filter head, the unit provides superior chemical resistance against highly aggressive gas components, including SO2, SO3, NOx, HCl, and HF. The transparent borosilicate glass filter bowl allows convenient visual monitoring of condensate buildup. Engineered with minimal dead volume, the K-AGF-PV-30-A ensures rapid real-time response times for CEMS and process gas measurement lines.
