Robust and reliable, the SEB/SEB-Z series rotary incremental encoders can also be used in harsh conditions. They are available in a bidirectional version (SEB) and bidirectional with zero reference (SEB-Z), with a number of pulses per revolution that varies from 2 to 12500, or in a magnetic version (SEB-M/SEBZ-M) from 8 to 2048 pulses/revolution.
The ABS plastic case offers a high degree of protection against environmental agents – IP65, which can be increased to IP66 with the application of a shaft protector.
The connections include cable or connector output in axial position, and the output signals can be of the open collector NPN, push-pull or line-driver type.
