LinMot Servo Drive are compact positioning controls with one or more power units for controlling the motors and an intelligent control unit with integrated position control. The control unit takes over all drive-related control and monitoring functions.

Designed for dynamic control of LinMot high performance linear motors of the motor families P10-54 and P10-70.

Designed for dynamic control of LinMot linear motors of the P01-23/37/48 motor families, the DM01/EM01/FM01 linear modules and the innovative PR01/PR02 series linear actuators.

Compact DC-Servo Drives for the realization of simple applications with two end positions up to complex and high-precision multi-axis applications and synchronization to the electronic main shaft.

A variety of fieldbus interfaces and protocols allow easy integration of LinMot servo drives to any control system. Functional safety functions are integrated directly into the drive and motor, ensuring safe operation during setup.

LinMot motors are high quality, extremely high efficiency tubular linear motors. This high efficiency means less heat generated and better position accuracy. The simple, clean tubular design makes it easy to install the motor, reducing the footprint and achieving unrivaled force density. Contrary to conventional drive solutions, LinMot solutions do not require any mechanical transmission elements – which simplifies the design, while reducing wear to almost zero and thus minimizing maintenance.

a.Linear Modules

If a complete drive solution is required, LinMot offers ready-made linear modules. These consist of linear guides and permanently integrated LinMot stators and optionally built-in “magnetic springs” MagSpring and a pneumatic holding brake.

Carefully engineered shafts guided by linear ball bearings ensure precise linear motion. Improvements in material and design allow the drive unit to achieve a higher bending stiffness while maintaining a light moving mass. The «Plug and Play» technology available within these guided motors makes drive commissioning quick and simple.

The stainless steel linear modules SM01/SM02 are complete drive solutions consisting of linear guides with integrated LinMot linear motors and optionally attached vertical load compensation elements «MagSpring». The modules have been specially developed for applications in the pharmaceutical or food industry which require a solution made of stainless steel with a high degree of protection.

LinMot offers two basic types of guides, moving slider or moving stator.Our moving slider linear guides allow for dynamic and precise load positioning in a very compact package. Our moving stator guides offer a high guidance accuracy, a precise load positionig and a reliable operation even with heavy loads and over a long distance.

LinMot offers linear modules and linear guides in stainless steel versions. This high degree of protection of these versions is suitable for applications in the pharmaceutical or food industry.

Closing, screwing or assembling… Linear rotary motors from LinMot are characterised by excellent flexibility, dynamics and speed. They combine two electromagnetic servo motors in just one slim housing and thus enable combined linear and rotary movements in the simplest way.

The virtually wear-free modules also offer outstanding availability and can be equipped with many options. LinMot offers linear rotary motors in two different series.
